AlumiClad materials are ideal for any architectural projects because they are lighter in weight, easier to fabricate into complex forms, and easier to install than traditional materials. They offer superior flatness, durability, stability, vibration damping and ease of maintenance. With a selection of finish types & colours of over 80 – plus the ability to specify virtually any custom colour – there’s no limit to the architectural designs you can create. To achieve the widest possible colour and gloss range, with unmatched durability, we coil-coat our aluminum composite sheets with the incredibly tough fluoropolymer resin, so your concept stays fresh through decades of exposure to the elements.
Break Metal offers a complement to our ACM products, giving fabricators the ability to form roof caps, flashing, fascia trim, accents and other complex forms using a sheet metal brake. This material is finished with fluoropolymer resin in many of our most popular 4mm architectural stock colours and select specialty colours. Custom colours are also available when aluminum Brake Metal and matching ACM panels are ordered together and finished in the same special run.
When using an ordinary cladding system, it can be difficult to get an acceptable colour match for roof caps, flashing, fascia trim and other complex forms that are specified for the project. AlumiClad Break Metal provides a perfect match for many of our most popular ACM panel finishes, including solid colours, micas and metallics. Custom panel colours can also be matched when the aluminum Brake Metal material is included in the custom panel order.
Custom colours must be ordered together with a minimum of 2,000 square feet of matching custom-finished panels.

AlumiClad FR Panel is a fire-retardant panel composed of two thin panels of aluminum laminated to either side of a mineral-filled thermoplastic core. The aluminum surfaces have been coil-coated before bonding with an advanced resin in a variety of finishes and colours, supplied by Sherwin-Williams Coil Coating (formerly Valspar). We also offer fire-retardant materials in our HD heavy-duty series and natural metal MCM composites.
Fire safety is important for any building project, and a fire-retardant panel is typically required in buildings that exceed a minimum height as specified by applicable codes. AlumiClad FR is one of the most advanced fire-retardant materials available and is IBC-listed to ensure compliance with many fire codes worldwide. Offered in an extensive choice of attractive options, this affordable material is one of the most popular choices for exterior fire-retardant cladding, seen in many landmark projects around the globe.

AlumiClad HD heavy duty panels are the strongest, most rigid aluminum composite materials we offer – providing superior tensile and yield strength with over five times the flexural elasticity strength of our standard panels. These heavy duty panels incorporate skins of 0.032" aluminum sheet metal – 60 percent thicker than our standard aluminum skins. And they’re available with the same advanced resin coatings, in finishes supplied by Sherwin-Williams (formerly Valspar), that make AlumiClad panels the most beautiful and durable aluminum composite materials you can specify.
For exterior cladding and other applications exposed to the most extreme conditions, no other aluminum composite materials offer the performance of AlumiClad HD. While our classic Aluclad PE panels use 0.020" aluminum skins, AlumiClad HD features 0.032" aluminum skins bonded to both sides of a polyethylene or fire-resistant core for exceptional strength and rigidity. Overall panel thickness is unchanged from our standard panels, making these heavy duty panels easy to use with your standard fabrication processes and fastening systems.

AlumiClad RF provides a polished reflective aluminum surface suitable for many applications that require a high degree of reflectivity. A reflective aluminum panel is bonded to our PE core and backed by a second aluminum panel, creating a panel that’s much thinner and lighter than traditional options, much easier to fabricate and mount, and virtually unbreakable. It’s the perfect material for any architectural project or practical application where reflectivity is required but a heavy, breakable reflector would be a liability.
The anodized reflective aluminum panel bonded to the surface of AlumiClad RF provides a high degree of reflectivity without the liabilities of traditional reflective materials. These highly polished reflective aluminum panels are thinner, lighter in weight and easier to fabricate and mount – and they’re shatterproof. They’re perfect for any application where high reflectivity is required for the beauty or function of the project, but where the weight, inflexibility, fabrication difficulty or breakability of other reflective materials would be a problem.
AlumiClad RF is supplied in 4 x 8-foot panels that are 2mm thick and weigh under 20 pounds each. By contrast, a glass mirror might be 6mm to 8mm thick and weigh 80 to 100 pounds in the same 4 x 8-foot size. AlumiClad RF can be fabricated using ordinary woodworking tools, and can be bent to conform to columns or other curved surfaces. Because it’s lightweight and shatterproof, it can be mounted to walls with double-sided VHB tape, a soft mastic such as construction sealant, or simple mechanical fasteners.
For all these reasons, it’s perfect for locations such as aircraft lavatories, gyms and spas, prisons, retail security and many other applications where a heavy, breakable reflective material can’t be safely used. AlumiClad RF is also ideal for reflecting a unique architectural brilliance in interior cladding, sculptural installations and other special projects.
• For interior use only
• Unlimited colour matching possibilities
• Available in 4' x 8' panels
• 2mm thick

The warmly muted colours in our Matte Series panels evoke the calming hues of the natural world. These clay red, limestone blue, river rock grey, slate black, olive green and cloud white finishes draw inspiration from the landscape to root your building in a native sense of place.
Aluminum oxide is an extremely hard substance – the molecular basis of rubies and sapphires. Aluminum alloys naturally form a surface layer of aluminum oxide that’s remarkably impervious, but only 4mm thick. Anodizing is an electrolytic process that vastly increases the thickness and toughness of this aluminum oxide layer. The anodized layer can also be dyed to create a range of color effects while still revealing the glow of the underlying aluminum. Anodized aluminum panels offer a distinctively sleek, clear finish that’s as tough as nails.
